Anaal Nathrakh - The Whole Of The Law (2016)

The Whole Of The Law is the new Anaal Nathrakh album and they keep on being one of the best extreme metal band, no other is able like them to have this level of over the top agression and be so "catchy" at the same time. their mix of black / grind beats, techno / breakcore beats (yes!) black metal and heavy metal (clean singing included) is one few can dare trying but they master it to perfection and once again it's a great success, in the vein of previous album Desiderata.

Awesome.

Anaal Nathrakh - Desideratum (2014)

Desideratum is Anaal Nathrakh eight full lenght and it contains every elements that has at a time been included on their previous album and is another proof of their great ability at combining the ultra-violent sonic aggression of black metal / industrial (with a touch of grind  / punk) with the epicness of more traditionnal heavy metal (melodies and clean singing included). compared to their latest work they added some more industrial elements (noises and some nearly hardcore techno beats) which higher even more the crazy agressivity of their music and bring back to mind their Codex necro early album. but at the same time they kept the melodic / epic side of their more recent albums. they managed once again to find a good balance (although a quite chaotic one!) and the album is very enjoyable, at the same time catchy and brutal in it's very special Anaal Nathresque way!

Anaal Nathrakh-Vanitas (2012)

Vanitas is another (it's their 9th record!) high quality record delivered by the cyber grind epic heavy black metal audio terror duo that answers to the name of Anaal Nathrakh. the two lads from Birmingham UK keeps on following their own tortuous way and they inflict to us once again their mix of black/grind/industrial beats, black / trash  riffing, destructive chaotic brutal madness times and some more melodic and epic moments, crazy extreme metal vocals and equally crazy clean vocals. Vanitas is no exeption to that but the mix is a bit different this time, compared to Passion, their previous record, it has less epicness and decadent atmosphere and more straighforward brutal sonic assault, it reminds more their first record. And I think the result is a success.
