Suffering Mind - Lifeless (2022)

New LP from Suffering Mind called Lifeless (released by grind powerhouse Psychocontrol Records). Side A delivers your daily dose of grindpunk, mercilessly executed, tight and with a modern sound. Side B is noise, movie samples punctuated by bursts of grind, little bits, but gaining additional impact by being hidden in the noise/samples. Another good release from Suffering Mind.

Suffering mind - Waste farm (2015)

Sufferind mind, from Poland, is one of those highly productive grind band. and that's cool because they also happens to be one of the best grindpunk band. most of the time they are releasing splits. Who said Agathocles? yes, surprise surprise, they recently released one with Agathocles!  that was bound to happen... there's also one with Detroit (don't miss this one!), and Lifes, and Nak'ay. but a 12' EP is coming soon! it's called Waste farm and most of it can already be listened to on their Bandcamp, and  it's killer stuff! simple but very effective, and with a production better than on some of their other releases, while keeping an old school grind feel. nice grind punk drumming, good dual vocals, good hardcore trash riffing, a good balance between speed and agression and groovier parts to get dynamic and memorable songs, and you get a very solid candidate for being one of the best grind release of the year... that's it... a mandatory listen if you're into grind.

Suffering mind - 11' st /Formatography (2014)

Suffering mind (from Poland) are not only among the old school gind band, it's also one of the most prolific. the prolem is that most of their releases are on very small splits and it does not makes it easy for those wanting to listen to their new stuff...that's why this formatography (on a 11' and digital on Bandcamp) gathering songs released on small format vinyls is really a good thing! it features the songs from :s/t 2", Death To False Grind 3", s/t 4", split 5" with Phobia, split 5" with S.A.T.A.N., split 5" with Dead Church, split 5" with Powercup, split 5" with the P.L.F., split 6" with Protestant, split 9" with MassGrave. plus 2 live tracks (Rostock, September 2010).
don't miss this good dose of Suffering mind's old school grind (or blastcore as they call their music) with a really good balance between frenzy and crushing grooves.

Six brew bantha / Suffering mind (split 7''-2013)

Six brew bantha and Suffering mind are two of the best grind bands of recent years and also are among those very active on the split releases front. so this split bringing them together is not a surprise but is nonetheless really welcome. the Suffering mind side is maybe a bit more old school and with more mid tempo parts while the Six brew bantha side is maybe more all-out grind.

Here is what I already wrote about Suffering mind.

and HERE is what I wrote about Six brew bantha.

if you need your 10 minutes dose of grind assault  don't think twice and go for it!

Suffering mind

Readers of Blasting days sure have noticed that I love grindcore. And I do because of bands like Suffering mind. They are old school grindcore activists from Poland, and since they formed five years ago they did a lot to keep furious grindpunk alive, radical and intense as it should be. They also carry the anti-authoritarian stand and DIY/underground ethics of original grindcore and that's an important thing.
Musically wise it's blast and d-beat at every stage, barking like a mad dog screamed vocals, short and fast songs. musicianship and production are really good. All that makes Suffering mind one of the best band in that style. They don't invent something, but what they do they do it better than hundreds of bands trying to play this kind of music. Suffering mind don't try. they do it, and they do it the way it should.

They released two LP's (one called At war with mankind in 2009, and another, self titled, in 2010), and countless splits with many cool grind bands (for exemple a split with Phobia coming in june, check their BC page, see link below, and you'll easily see how active they are in recording splits...).
