Endless Swarm - Manifested Forms (2023)

Manifested Forms, released last year by To Live a Lie, is another fine piece of powerviolence/fastcore/grind from the Scottish Endless Swarm. It's All killer, no filler, and maybe their best album yet. Recommended!

Realize - Two Human Minutes (2023)

On their third album, called Two Human Minutes, Realize are still mostly doing Godflesh worship, but they sure know how to do it well. And maybe they're introducing a bit more beats that are a bit different, either with a trap/hip-hop or more EBM feel. Godflesh fans will steel feel definitely at home though. Unless you're not looking for originality, this is good stuff.

Death Toll 80K - The Future is yours (2021)

Finnish band Death Toll 80K has earned a lot of respect in the grind circles thanks to their two excellent albums (released in 2011 and 2017). They are now back with this EP called The Future is Yours, released by To Live a Lie Records. This time again they deliver some high quality grindpunk, in the old school spirit, but sometimes even faster and with a sharper and more modern sound.

Fuck On The Beach / Endless Swarm - split 7'' (2020)

This split 7'' bring together two good powerviolence/grind band, the Japanese Fuck On The Beach whom I discover, with pleasure, and Endless Swarm from Scotland whom I follow since some years now (I reviewed their latest album HERE). This is old school and relentless goodness, no surprise it's been released (last year) by To Live A Lie Records.

Torch runner-Commited to the ground

recently released by To live a lie record, Commited to the ground by Torch runner is really an intense record. it's taking the "worst" from chaotic hardcore and grindcore, like a clash between Converge and Rotten sound, and the result is quite terrific. Mostly really short (around 1 min) and fast songs, ewept two songs that shows a kind of sludge side of the band. the songs are really well crafted and executed with a deadly precision.
If you like the most brutal hardcore or chaotic/hardcore grind with a dark feel then you have to listen to this record.
